My Favorite Technology-based TV Series
Bonjour friends. Today, I want to share some of my favorite technology-related TV series with the community. Some of these series are yet to be continued while others have come to an end. Either way, they are exciting and fun to watch. Coming across a good tech series is hard, especially when they are countless TV series out there with bad plots and dry comedy. So in today’s article, I will be sharing three series that you can binge-watch and alleviate your stress with some good comedy, a great story, and nice tech. The series is in no particular order of rating, and they are all personal favorites. So let’s dive right in.
Silicon Valley
First premiered in April 2014, Silicon Valley is a six-seasoned comedy technology series that aired its finale in December 2019. Some of its cast includes Thomas Middleditch, Josh Brener, M. Starr, Matt Ross, and many others. The series is centered around Richard, a character played by T. Middleditch, a computer programmer who establishes a tech startup called Pied Piper, which is based on a data compression app that Richard developed while he was a former employee of another tech company called Hooli. Throughout the journey, Richard will make friends and enemies who will try to support and sabotage his cause respectively. The series has an impressive and fun-packed chain of events with great humor. With a total of 53 episodes in its 6 seasons, you are guaranteed a roller coaster of suspensions, humor, and drama.
Mythic Quest
A relatively recent series, Mythic Quest is another fictional TV series based on a game studio that produces a famous MMORPG-based video game entitled Mythic Quest. It was premiered in February 2020 and currently has 2 seasons, which comprises 20 episodes. The cast of the movie includes R. McElhenney, J. Ennis, Ashly Burch, and others. The main focus of the story is how a group of diverse people with different character traits work together on the game, which has Ian as its creative director and a female engineer Poppy Li as the chief engineer. This series is full of rib-cracking moments as the producers do a great job of combining serious subtle humor with an engaging storyline.
Mr. Robot
This TV series centers around the life of the character Elliot, played by Rami Malek, who is a cybersecurity expert with social anxiety and depression disorder. Elliot joins a group of social activists called fsociety, who use their hacking skills to target a corporation called E Corp. The first episode was premiered in May 2015. There is a total of 4 seasons that include 45 total episodes. Some names of the cast who starred in the series are Carly Chaikin, Martin Wallstrom, Christian Slater, and several others. This series is full of twists and turns and has good drama. Do not hesitate to check it out.
