The Diary Game : 24th October, 2021 : Attending a funeral of a fallen friend

It is always an unfortunate event to see a someone depart from the land of the living. And when it is someone you know, it is a different mood altogether.

Attending a funeral of a beloved one

Unfortunately for us, one of our very own brethren passed away a few days ago from a sudden illness that was quite shocking to everyone. We were just sitting around when this unfortunate news came to us and I was even unspeakable. This person was quite young and full of life and all of a sudden, he was gone.

This just tells me that nothing in this life we are living is promised but death. And all of us will get a taste of it eventually as the time goes by. I think that once we are among the land of the living, we should do good things so that people will remember us in good faith after we have passed away.

But I like how his memory was honored by the people around him who were there to support him and uphold his memory.

The little we could do was to come around and pay our last respect to our fallen brother which we were more than happy to do. This is what we mean by being there for your fellow brother.
