I wish to make reference to the contest advertisement on the steem-ghana platform by @oppongk that talks about unique or different things to do to promote steem this year and submit my entry for you to peruse through.

Introduction

It is every good steemian's objective to help steemit blossom and this will be possible if he or she tries to be apposite in matters that help steemit to grow. A whole lot of young brilliant talents with exceptional ideas are still not aware of the steem community.I have seen how people with talented ideas waste it on other social media platform, who with the right education can join this platform that rewards content creators based on depth of the content. As a steemian,I believe there are multiple measures we as steemians can put in place to promote steem to enable more talented folks to join.

This year has its present and must be very great. A steemian cannot only make steemit to grow solely but needs others too. It means that, this growth is a collective responsibility (responsibility of all). Therefore, I would like to crave your indulgence to treat this topic as, "unique or different things you and I will, and can do to promote steem this year, 2022. I would also group my points under internal and external ways we can do to promote steem this year. Since I have grouped them in these ways, I would like to justerpose the two, buttress and substantiate the points under each of them for clarity.

First and foremost, I would like to talk about external things to do to promote steem this year 2022.

Main Body

External Ways

First, wearing steemit shirts often at work places and in public scenes is one things we can do to promote steem this year. Steemit shirts must be very attractive.

Which we know all of our designs are beautiful. Beautiful things we know sells and attract people. If we often wear our branded T-shirts, it will help us sell steemit most. One has to therefore be confident in it in such a way that it will sell to curious minds this year. Most organized groups and companies use T-shirt as a major tool to project and sell their products to people. Therefore wearing steem branded T-shirts this year, is a way we can promote steem effectively this year.

Secondly, in 2022, words that we use for our steem promos must be persuasive and convincing. We can't say we are going on a steem promo and be myopic on our terms and the core objective of steem. Therefore, this year one has to acquaint him or herself with things about steem. Whenever words are chosen and selected well, people seek to know what is ahead. This makes them quest for more. Our terms must be known well and potent enough to attract people to appreciate steemit.

Attending steem-promos, visiting newbies, attending to their plights, urging them on and assisting them to carry out their achievement activities and other relevant post is one best thing we can do to promote steem this year. Those of us who are very active on the blockchain have experienced that not always are things rosy on the platform, yet we keep the passion and the tenacity. This year, we must help others understand how to endure on the blockchain. We must visit them and know their sentiments and predicaments, out of which we can help them grow and build the spirit of passion in them also.

In our workplaces for instance, this year you and I can promote steem by spreading the message of steem to colleagues at work. For example: as a teacher, last year, during my free periods, I was using them to guide students on steem. This year it must continue. Therefore, we must use our free time at work to guide our colleague workers to accept steem. We must also get a lot of flyers that can help us. We must improvise out of our work schedules to help students understand steem so that they can also find something to do with their time in school and after school.

Students we know listen to their teachers, so during free periods it can be a platform to sell steem to students and also to our staff mates. In our churches also, we can promote steem by using youth meetings to guide members by selling steemit to them.

To add, this year we must try our possible best to invite people of different knowledge. With this point, I mean that even on our various campuses whenever we are going on a steem-promo we shouldn't focus our attention on students who are in our departments only, but we should try and go beyond our department. A mathematics students should try to sell steemit to social science ,political science , Biology students etc and vice versa so that, they will bring different knowledge to feed our community when they join. Same must apply to other fields we are serving at. This is an effective way to promote steem this year.

Internal Things We Can Do To Promote Steem This year

It can be observed that, activities on the platform are declining day in and day out. What can a steemian do? It becomes so imperative that a steemian shouldn't rest on his or her laurels but to write instructive and informative posts accompanied with well designed markdowns in order to improve upon its aesthetic features. It can even be given as a guest post to the community. Posts must go through lots of research and good markdowns to improve its graphics this year. This in one way or the other will attract steemians to always visit our platform. Also, we must try our possible efforts to read and appreciate the write-up of good authors in order to urge them on. Producing good content is one way of promoting steem. It helps to keep good records in our blog which can be referred and use in future.

Helping steemians find the right discourse or community to locate their posts is one of the things we can do to promote steem internally. When posts are misplaced, they do not meet the required attention steemians need their posts to get. It is in one way or the other very common on the platform especially with newbies. Most of them do not know the right discourse to situate their posts . This makes them irrelevant. and also, this year we must help intensify our plagiarism campaign. Contents that have plagarise items suffer a lot because they do not give us a post confidence. If we do not help steemians and these acts persist, they later loose their passion and remain passive. We have to promote steem by helping others find their way. This is very germane because, it helps keep lots of members on the blockchain and appropriate post are seen on the appropriate communities. This will help them get their right vote and support.

Again, a steemian feels neglected when he/she isn't feeling relevant on the blockchain. This year, one thing to do to promote steem internally is to try our possible best to urge or carry people on by explaining jargons, weird words and terms . For example: matters of #club5050, 75 and 100 are a pain in the neck of many steemians. We can help sustain our members and promote steem internally by helping steemians understand and survive on steem.

This very year, steem can be promoted when we accept to delegate power to our community to strengthen the community. We exist because of our community and our community exist because of us. In order to promote steem, our community must also survive. It becomes so pertinent that this year, every good steemian must delegate power to support community activities and improve on its foundation.

Moreover, under internal points, steem can be promoted effectively when we find community platform activities as an upmost priority. We must support with writing contests and giving feedback to whatever goes on on the blockchain. I clear example of promoting steem this year is this my contest entry and will always continue with it.

Complying to steemitblog initiatives is another thing we must do we can promote steem this year. It is always beneficial to a steemian who always visit steemitblog in such a way that it helps him or her to be up and doing and always have a foresight. Matters of #club5050, 75 and 100 are the trending initiatives and every steemian who visit the place is well informed with it's computations. This year to promote steem adequately we must let the steemitblog be our home where we visit everyday.

Last, both internally and externally, steem can be promoted this year when we work as a team. We must be congruent on our social media platforms, meetings and also share our thoughts so that we all build the blockchain together. A fundamental way to promote steem is to work as a unit so that, others wouldn't deviate from the singular objective set by leaders. Seriousness and activeness must be a priority this year since it is a good way to promote steem this year.

Conclusion

From the aforesaid, we can deduce that promotions come in diverse ways but how unique and different they appear, distinguishes them and sustains a group, discourse or company.

Some of the points I raised and elaborated about on things to do to promote steem this year were: wearing branded steemit shirts frequently,using selective and persuasive steemit words on steem promos, visiting newbies and other steemians frequently to know their plight, promoting steem at work place, recruiting newbies from different discourses to occupy the blockchain, writing informative and educative posts, helping steemians to locate appropriate discourse to post, explaining weird or jargons to steemians, delegating power to support community activities, seeing community activities as upmost priority, working as a team and visiting steemitblog frequently to be well vest with activities on the blockchain.

When we remain serious, dedicated, poised and full of passion, this in itself is a unique way to promote steem. We shouldn't get tired at all. We should do whatever we can to send steemit to the homes of people. We must let people know that there is a better way to invest our monies, time, efforts and that is nowhere than the steemit blockchain.
