Happy new month to you all
I'm happy to be a part of this contest, I will be showing my talents of literature "poetry" to be precised.
Along side is a poem composed and written by me.
I wrote this poem when I started life newly...I was down and difficulty stared me at the face. All my prayers and positive thoughts were " someday I will be great"
Thanks to God that I am making it in life, I am now independent and supportive to my family.
So, out of brokenness, I came up with this poem titled "WHEN IS THE DAY"

WHEN IS THE DAY

When is the day I will feel relieved?
when will I overcome my unbelieve?
When is the day I will smile per second?
When will my worries I'll not reckon?

When is the day I'll wipe mother's tears?
when will I stop grandma's fears?
when is the day I'll jump in excitement?
Thanking God for my great upliftment

When is the time "finally" will I say?
when is the time to mother I'll repay?
when will my pots be always filled?
When will my moments be happily thrilled?

When is the time my purse never will dry?
When is the day even harder I need not try?
When will I jump in Jubilation for a prayer answered?
saying after these struggles at last I've been honoured.

soon, that day will come
like a bright morning sun
smiles will fill my lips
then I'll give a wide grin.

She is a strong and hardworking woman.
I promise to wipe her tears one day.

HONOUR

The loss of gold is much
The loss of time is more
The loss of honour such a loss
As no man can restore.

LOVE

Love is cool,
Love is good
Love is a great feeling
To every living being
But love not reciprocated
Is love denied
It hurts and hard to try again.
