So delighted to partake on this wonderful Contest, which says, what can be done by leaders to sustain the current active members.

First of all, I thank @kookd and @aoppongk for organizing and bring up this Contest, for us to share our ideas on what can be done by leaders to sustain current active members.

who is a leader

This is someone who guide and control group number of people, either in state, nation and community, here in Steemit, they are the head representative or coordinator of each country, state, community present in Steemit community, who works and guide members on what the should do and know in Steemit.

Who is a good leader, they are ones who control guide it member on the right part, and what they should do and know, that is the leader should have people's hearts in mind no matter the circumstances he found him/herself, we all know each an everyone of us here have an area of challenges, but it should not be an excuse for our leader not to answer his/her people when they need help.

Yes is not easy to be a leader, I so much respect them , and since my stay in here have 95% of the good work that have come out from our leaders here in Ghana community have being doing so far, I appreciate, but there is some areas here they have not see or touch, which will better the growth of this community in retaining active members.

Here are some few points to it, for our leaders to sustain active members

1 . Commenting and upvoting-

I have checked, and see that, the 95% of unactive members, are mainly newcomer, who are still trying to understand, how Steemit works, how to apply basic step and markdown on the post they are able to share on, and even find it difficult to reach to a point of word the are expected to, so due to this there post have no upvote or even comment on, to encourage them to do better.

2 . Organized Contest-

In this aspect, composing and bring up contest at least a week, yes I know in this, our leaders are trying, they need to keep it up, because most newbies here, found it difficult to put out what to start to write on, on there post apart from there daily activities, even some can not describe the exact form of the activities, how to start writing the post. And our leaders should not be bringing up all time a contest that is hard and though for newbies to participate.

3 . Special reward should be given to active members, some times -

I noticed that there are some good quality post, that don't have an upvote or comment, yet we see it and pass bye, I want to know if there is partiality in Steemit, and the person not minding will still be active, hoping for further, as the say consistent pays. Please our leaders, we should try to upvote each other vote, or comment, in order to encourage the person to do more, and seek in giving special reward to the active members at least once in a week, will encourage members to be active, for better growth.

4 . Assisting members and improvement, should be done in the used of our telegram chart or Facebook-

This is also one of the major area we are lacking behind, we new members that have no connection to a close members, who have been in Steemit and knows every areas and Conners in Steemit, in terms of applying markdown, and others, this are help we need but no one to assist in it, and they only way we can communicate to each other is through our telegram chart, but majority of the leaders are not there to assist us, and most newbies have not seen this telegram chart, they once that are willing to be there, no one to bring the link for them or tell them where the can get the link and is indeed affecting us. Looking on, on the achievement post, most newbies have been discourage to be active, since there post can't be varified or get any upvote, so the lack behind, to move forward, yes is not easy, but we should help, encourage and put hand to upvote our members achievement post and varified it too.

Assisting members, by showing them how to join @club5050,and they once that there reward did not reach for the powering up, u help them by upvoting they post made on Steemit, so the can join and also benefit as you.

I will be much grateful if our leaders, will look to this point of mine, for better growth and improvement of this community thanks.
