Weekly Power Up Challenge

Thanks to @njaywan for this challenge. I am a newbie who has been on this platform for less than 2 months but I'm making it a habit to power up frequently. Although I don't have a lot of Steem or Steem Dollar in my wallet, allocating the few I have for power ups is something I find very important.

This Power Up is a process where a user converts his Steem into Steem Power.

Step by step process of Powering Up

Step 1
Click on wallet.

Step 2
A steem option with an arrow pointing down will show then you click on it

Step 3
Click on Power Up

Step 4
Enter the amount of steem you want to power up and confirm by clicking power up.

Step 5
Enter your private active key to sign in

You have successfully powered up.

In a case where a user wants to use Steem Dollar (SBD) to power up, he has to first convert the Steem Dollar into Steem and then power up.

Converting Steem Dollar to Steem

Step 1
Click on wallet

Step 2
A Steem Dollar option with an arrow pointing down will show then you click on it.

Step 3
Click on market

Step 4
You will see the Buy Steem section . Under this, we have Price, Amount and Total. Enter the amount of SBD you want to convert in the Total column and this will be converted in the Amount column showing the amount of steem you will receive.

Step 5
Click on Buy Steem then ok

Step 6
Enter your private active key to sign in to approve the process.

Hurray you have bought your steem.

I will use this opportunity to urge everyone to Power Up because it increases the value of steem, gives users voting power, and makes it easy to gain the attention of curators.
