The Diary Game: 《♧♧☆Working on My Peasant Farm( Garden)♡◇~22nd July, 2022》

Wow! Farming on a larger scale would not be easy at all even if it doesn't involve a lot of human effort. After school today, i decided to have time and weed around the crops grown around my house.

Around the hall, i have planted pepper, cocoyam, plantain tomatoes, coconut and some flowers for beautification.

I intentionally planted them because, most people use chemicals which may not be good for your health. Now most people out of greed and a way to amass wealth, use certain chemicals to make vegetables ripe within the shortest possible time.

Which may not be good for our health. Now, you can buy vegetables at the market and the middle will be green. So cultivating these vegetable without fertiliser or chemicals around a small space in the house may prevent yiu from a lot of harm and also save us money.

In about a month time or three weeks, i believe my plantain will be ready to harvest. Working with these crops give me a sense of hope because these crops even on half concrete grounds are able to bare fruits, how much more me who can change my ways when things goes bad.

At least, we are not the only people who harvest the pepper expecially. Because most of them is planted outside the house, before you realise, people have harvested the riped ones and even sometimes the unriped ones.

Its not that nice to steal but what can you do. Times are hard and people find it difficult to amke ends meet these days.

This evening, i went about my usual watering of the crops and flowers. Its been raining these days so i stopped watering but for about three days now no rain so i had to do the needful.

My peppper has grown flowers indicating that, its about to bare fruits. I was really happy seeing the little flowers.

When you sre working like this, no one will help you but when it is ready, you will find people trying to beg you. In Ghana, any place is fertile but people don't want to plant.

Anyone who care for some can contact me for a handful. I can't give more than that because this is not planted on a large scale.

I thought of sharing so i can motivate others to plant anything that is edible or flower for food or for beautification. Planting tree and flowers has a way of reducing global warming and also give beauty to the environment.

We can also save some money or help those who genuinely need our help because they can afford certainly basic food items.
