Why I love steemit

I still remember the day I signed up for a Yahoomail. It was way back in 2007 when emailing was the biggest deal. Since then, I have grown love for the w.w.w. Of things. Later, social media took over with different things to offer. I would say they where a blessing and a cursing. A blessing because one could easily connect to love ones all over the world and a cursing because we kept sharing content building peoples lives and very few pockets but we were never really getting anything in return besides the likes and the backlash until I was referred to @steemit by @cherub27. So, yeah, just like many of you out there, I will like to use this opportunity to tell you why Love steemit and they are as follows:

• Reward for genuine content and no central government interference
• Education and empowerment
• Dapp and transparency

First of all, I was wowed by the thought that I can post original content and get rewarded for it and being free from central government interferance meaning I have autonomous control over my asset thus I can choose what and what not to do with my asset without any query. Unlike fiat currency which keeps losing value as the years goes by, steem and SBD has no limit. It becomes even more valuable as time goe by.

Secondly, educating and empowering. I love to read wide and I almost alway find very detailed informations on here which are very educating. This lectures, when learned and practice upon improve an individual's life. Take for example the crypto academy which has help many undertand the crypto world and how to even trade crypto with very many wonderful insights to educate and empower communities member who participate. There is also the steemfood community where individual members give a step to step tutorials on how to cook various food, which at the end of the days empowers all those who participate. So, I get to learn all of this for free as well as the authors, gaining awesome rewards on their post from members. Isn't this awesome and dont forget, knowledge is power. Being decentralized means secured and it can be trusted.

Finally, I love steemit for being a Dapp and transparent. I remember sending another steemian my SBD's, it was smooth and transparent. I could read from my end that the SBD has been transferred and undoubtedly, it reflected on his end and i could also always verify from his end as well so there can be no denying because there was ample evidence to support my claim and user can't delete or change transactions and active log once input. Transactions on steemit os also very seemless and free. *This reminds me of a day I did a bank transfer for a fellow. I took more than 3 days before the transaction could reflect at his end and he was so ferious buzzing me every second to confirm which account had sent the money to and even with the bank receipt it was for a time difficult for him to accept it but this is not the case on the steem Blockchain. Seamless transfer which is fast and secure too.

In conclusion, steemit is the best thing that has so far happened to me in the world of socialmedia via Dapp. Super secures and transparent at the say time given individual power to stand and to rise together. There is power in unity and out of this love for this platform, about 7 of my referrals have been registered on here.
