The Diary Game: Renovating Our New Kitchen, Shopping At The Market And Cooking Dinner(14/09/2021).

Yesterday was a busy day for myself and my colleagues at work. Few days ago, our landlord gave us a room to renovate and to use as our kitchen so today being a free day for us, we went and bought paint and brushes for the painting of the room. Before the painting, we made sure we swept all the dirt out of the room and clean the walls.
They only sell white paints here and the primary colour in a small bottle. So we bought the paints and then came home to do the mixing.
After getting the consistent mixture, my colleague did the painting whiles we worked on getting a carpenter to design and fix a shelf for us. The one Carpenter said he could not deliver it on the same day so we had to find another person who would finish it and deliver on the same day as we wanted something really simple.
In about an hour the paint on the wall has already dried up and in about 2 hours after negotiating with the carpenter, he came to fix the shelves. We also arrange food stuffs and utensils on the shelves. The stove and gas was also fixed and stationed at their respective positions.
From fixing the selves and other things, we went to the market to buy additional cooking utensils and food stuffs.
We also bought provisions for the shito we intend cooking tomorrow. I will update you guys on that later. And around 4 p.m.,i cooked rice and bean, fried ripped plantain with egg stew for the first time in our new kitchen for dinner.
