Greetings friends of this beautiful community #steemghana, with this post I join the contest so entertaining proposed to narrate what the personal experience of Christmas was and in this way show our cultural customs for the time.

Christmas is the time to meet again, share, forgive and family union; It is the time when joy and enthusiasm reign because we get together as a family to make the Hallas and the family dinner. This year was extremely different from previous years due to many factors that affect us Venezuelans mainly due to the chaos in which we are submerged and on the other hand due to the restriction that exists regarding COVID-19; which made my family shrink a lot.

Even with all these difficulties, we maintained the joy that characterizes the December days and we made the great decision to prepare the Hallacas, who is the queen of the table in the month of December, we made an effort that was worth it because we had a pleasant time as a family.

For the arrival of the Child God we prepare ourselves spiritually as every year, thanking for everything granted and asking for world peace, among other things, we shared as a family while it was 12 am between anecdotes and memories that bring us mixed feelings and that Despite the nostalgia for the absence of most of the family members, all this causes happiness in our lives, when the long-awaited time finally arrived we gave each other a big hug, then my children opened the Christmas gift very happy because They were granted their request and ready to use it while we served dinner.

We went to the table to taste the traditional dinner consisting of the Halca, salad, baked meat roll and banquet bread, prepared with much love and enthusiasm as a family, accompanied by a toast.

After dinner, we packed everything up and began to make several video calls to our relatives to wish them Merry Christmas, in those we spent about two hours because they showed us what was happening in their environment. Now when we feel that the body did not give for more we prepare to go to bed happy to achieve a wonderful and charming family night, full of the magic of Christmas.
