WE NEED MORE VOLUTEERISM IN OUR COMMUNITIES
Greetings steemians,
There is a need for more and more individuals to embrace the spirit of volunteering for no reason at all. This means that, we must offer a helping hand without expecting anything in return at all.
Looking at the state of our country, the work we need to be done in our various communities and neighborhoods may never be offered by the government. If they ever had any genuine form of help, it would have surely come in various forms a while ago.
I believe goodness and selflessness still exists despite what we have seen over the years. This is usually seen during our worst moments or periods of worldwide disaster.
One of such examples was seen during the corona virus epidemic. We saw numerous people doing good out of their heart, expecting nothing at all in return. That is the kind of spirit we need.
We cannot just sit back and fold our arms expecting things to just stay as it is without doing anything to stop it. We need to step forward and be the source of strength for our community.
Volunteerism needs to be in the conscience of every soul out there and must be a pillar our community can count on at all times.
