Some Lessons I Am Taking For My Life
Dear all,
It has become a thing for people who are living in Africa to believe that it is only through some sort of favor that they are going to attain success. This has stopped most of us from actually trying to pursue anything in life but would rather sit back and hope for a miracle.
Time and time again I see people only going to church to pray for divine favor but with their arms folded and them, sitting back home hoping for some changes in their lives.
I really don't thing that's how it works. There is no way anyone is going to make it in life if all they do is sit at home and wait for divine favor.
I think the best way forward is to try and take decisive steps in planning your life. We must know where we are coming from, where we would like to go and how we plan on getting there. All these are factors that has changed my view on several things.
From the way I see things, I believe we all have a role to play in how we want to be in the future. It will require very meticulous and conscious efforts on our part, some faith, as well as some element of luck.
I have made sure to develop a very strong mental strength that is going to really facilitate the way I see things especially in my lowest points in life. If I am able to bounce back from these times, I am certainly more likely to come out stronger than ever.
Opportunities are not also unlimited especially in underdeveloped countries like ours. So, I have to make do with what life gives me. That way, I can reach my goals and not have any regret in life too.
I hope that I can realize my dreams with these important lessons in the near future. I hope all will remember me in their prayers too.
Exactly we do not have to think that things just happened rather we make them happen life is not like an automatic car that when u sit in you just move 😂 you have to drive the car yourself to see a move or a change. It's the mindset that is going to get you there
I agree with you
We need to strive to make opportunities for ourselves when we see non and also when we see, we grab because there's no guarantee we will see that opportunity again.
Networking is also a good way to attain success. Many African Africans don't know that yet. We have to go out, talk to people and make good contacts that can be of help.
