THE DAIRY GAME . My Journey From Navrongo To Tamale.
Hello lovely Steemians.
Before I start my agenda for today I will like to say a big Thank you to our able country reps @njaywan and @oppongk for their immense support they have being giving all of especially me.
Today , Friday 19th March 2020. I am to share to you how my journey form Navrongo to Tamale went .
I school in Navorongo a town in the Upper East Region of Ghana but I stay with my parents at Tamale the capital town of Northern Region.
I left my campus to the Tamale station in Navorongo at exactly 11 am. A friend of mine called @massachusetts gave me a ride to the station.
At my arrival at the station a car had already loaded full with passengers and was just about leaving meaning I will have to sit for some number of hours for another car to full .
This was me waiting at the station
Navorongo to Tamale is about 3-4 hours drive, as a result this a six seater car is what we use as our source of transport.
Tamale station at Navorongo
I waited for two more hours until the car was fully loaded with passengers then we started our journey.
When we about to start our journey.
My Driver
We left Navrongo at exactly 1:05 pm . The driver said he needed to buy fuel so we got to the nearest fuel station but unfortunately no fuel .
So we had to proceed to Bolga , the capital town of Upper East where we had the fuel to buy .
We had the fuel at Frimps Oil .
Navorongo to Bolga is a 30 minutes drive .
There are a lot of security checks along the highway of Tamale and Navorongo this because the road leads to a different country which is Burkina Faso .
Some of the security checks we went through.
After we left Bolga we drove like about 1 hour then got to our first tollbooth where our driver had to pay an amount for tax
Then we set off entering another region which is the North east region of Ghana. We met a lot of vehicles on way not the usual we were told our export rate is getting high that’s why a lot of heavy duty cars where using the road .
After an hour of intense driving we were almost done with our journey. We got to our last tollbooth where our driver had to pay again .
We now completed about 80% of our journey.
Just about entering Tamale we got to the last town before Tamale that’s Salvelugu which was very busy. I think it was their market day.
I am sure you might be wondering what I ate during the journey right.
This is what I took lol. I took only a bottle of voltic water which was okay for me .
By the Grace of Allah we got to Tamale after 20 minutes drive form Salvelugu .
I actually didn’t get to the Navorongo station in Tamale I got down on the way . A junction that leads to my area . So I had to look out for tricycle to get me home .
Alhamdulaih after some few minutes I got to the house .
That was how my journey form Navorongo to Tamale went .
Thank you for reading.
