Steemit has come a great way and so has our Ghanaian community, obviously our journey and path has not been exactly the same as the steemit process however we do have a lot to tell and a lot to write home about. From community that was almost dormant for so long and had it's member losing hope and leaving the blockchain to what we have now, a vibrant community with daily writeups, great compeitions, meetups etc, i can vehemently say we have done a great deal and i am proud of how far we have come and what we have achieved.

And whiles it is team work which is making the dream work as it is said, i must commend our leaders @njaywan and @oppongk for the great service done for this community in bringing this far within this short term of our community creation, growth and development. But there is more to be done though, the work is not done neither is it over, everyday effort to see us progress further and farther, even the mighty sky can't hold us.

My only small worry is that the Ladies on the blockchain are few, yes we have seen some good improvement but we certainly still need more ladies. The thing about ladies is that we add a different kind of seasoning to the cooking, we are good at spreading the gospel of the blockchain because we talk more than men do and we also add to the beauty, growth and development of the blockchain.

I am glad that we have individuals like @magcarnie posting on a regular basis to support the growth on the community but the men still outnumber the women on a very large scale or ratio and so i am putting a call out there for us to bring back our steemian ladies, lets support them as they come back and help them grow along with us that together we can be a bigger and better family.
