THE DIARY GAME || 24TH MAY, 2022 || COMPASSION GALA COMPETITION

Hello everyone, I greet you all. We thank God for given us this wonderful day. I woke up early today exactly 6:00 am. I took my morning prayers and went out to brush my teeth. As usual, I took a broom and swept the compound because it was not looking too good. There were rubbish all over the compound because of the programme that went on yesterday in our compound. After the sweeping exercise, I went to the kitchen and washed all the bowls, plates and the cooking pots I used yesterday. I fetched water to the bathroom and took my bath. I dressed up and went to the school, Compassion, the school that runs on only Saturdays.

DURING THE MATCHES ON THE PARK

Compassion is a school set by an NGO from Europe to help the less privillaged children. This school operate only on Saturdays. The teachers in this school are volunteer teachers, they don't take salaries, they teach for free to help the poor children. The purpose of this school is to impact the wisdom of God to the children. They also aim at finding and developing the talent of the children. The are about seven Compassion schools in this area. Today happens to be the day that the compassion schools in the circuit are having the gala football competition at Beposo.

PRESENTING AWARDS TO THE TEAMS

Beposo hosted the gala this year. All the schools came to Beposo to play the gala. The Compassion school at Nsuta is part of the game so I also went with them since am part of the teachers in the school. The match started very well and all the teams did very well. Our school was fortunate to qualify to final but loose to Beposo, the hosted school by five goals to nill.

AWARDS GIVING

We were very sad for loosing at the final stage but there was nothing we could do. After the matches, the officials gave some prizes to the winning teams and the players that did very well in the competition. The male and the female teams got a cup each. Those who lost in the final round also got football. There were happiness and jubilation all around the place. There were music and dance on the park after the match. After the competition, those from far places took their cars and went home. That was the end of the diary for today, thank you.
