Heya Steemians, I hope we are all doing great. Ermm this seems to be my first post in the Steem Ghana community @oppongk, @njaywan and @nattybongo. I hope it met up with the standards for writing in the community and that you enjoy reading as well .😊

So for today what I would be sharing is a smile. What it is, why you should smile and the health benefits of a smile. Scientists believe that a smile is just a muscle movement in the face but then I believe smiles are more than just muscle twitches or movement in the face but rather smiles are expressions of happiness made by turning your mouth up at the corners.

WHEN DO PEOPLE SMILE AND HOW TO SPOT A SMILE

One may ask when people smile or how can one see smiles on the faces of people. Usually one gets to show a smile during periods of amusement, affection and friendliness and it is characterized by an upward curving of the corners of the mouth and a sparkling of the eyes.

A face that is smiling but does not involve the muscles in the eyes indicates a fake smile or polite smile that is not actual happiness or joy. So do well to spot out these in identifying real smiles from fake ones.

BENEFITS OF SMILING

Most research studies shave confirmed that smiles are very essential in the life of people. Smiles have a high tendency to release endorphins, other natural painkillers, and serotonin.

These neurotransmitters make us feel good from head to toe. Smiles help to also relax your body and reduce physical pain. Smiling is a natural drug and helps fights off so many disorders thus improving your immune system.

Also, Smiling makes you look attractive and lively. It makes it easy for you to be approached by people and they can easily set the pace for a conversation. So don't forget to always put on a smile everyday.
