THE DIARY GAME (13/08/2022): A BUSY WEEKEND ON CAMPUS

Day break Africa. I woke up to another brand new day with the sky being very cloudy . I had already said my dawn prayers earlier.

Today I had to rise up earlier than usual since it was weekend and I had to attend Arabic as early as 6:00am. I however went late since the weather was unpredictable; it was cloudy and I was speculating it would rain cats and dogs.

However the weather became clearer each passing minute and I was convinced it wouldn’t rain. I arrived at Arabic around 7:00am: I was already an hour late and the instructor was already in class.

We learnt a poem and did some memorization in it. I also learnt a little on some basic rulings.

After Arabic around 9:20 am, I went to witness the vetting of the Computer Science Society (CSS) of which I am the treasurer.

I sat there for almost an hour and decided to go and take my usual breakfast of millet porridge since I was very hungry.

Later in the afternoon I went back to campus to partake in the TEIN elections since I was a staunch and patriotic member.

After the voting, i went back to my hostel to prepare for Man United’s game against Brentford.
The game went in favor of Brentford as they trashed Man U 4-0.

After the match, I went back to the hostel and said my Maghreb prayers. My roommate prepared spaghetti for supper. As soon as I finished praying, I served myself as I was very hungry. I ate hungrily.

Later in the night,around 8:00om I went to the sports center to watch a match between Barcelona and Real Valladolid. The match ended in a goalless draw.

After the match, I started writing a post on Steemit but couldn’t complete it since I fell asleep. The day was very tiresome.
