Whenever you have to remove your glasses from your eyes or put them on, kindly make sure to hold both temples with both hands well before you put them on or remove them.

Holding only one hand put unnecessary pressure at one point which could cause a breakage if it meets an obstacle whiles coming off or going on. It is not that hard, just start today and it will become a habit tomorrow.

• Storing Your lens after removal

Spectacles always come with their own cases whether it be designer or not, your Optometrist will ensure that you have case within which to put or place it when you take them off. Please do well to put them in as soon as you take them off. This will not only save you from accidentally dropping it, or sitting on it and breaking it but also prevent dirt from getting on to the surface.

It is so happens that you have to only remove it temporary for a very short while such that there wouldn't be any need placing it in its case, kindly do well to ensure that you place it with the lens facing upward. Most people do not even consider this and would just place it anyhow on any surface at all.

The more you do this, the more you scratch the Lens' surface and within a short while you will be coming back reporting of blurry vision which would be as result of the lens scratching such that it's clarity is compromised and you may need a new one to be done. Meanwhile, you could have avoided all this by simply placing your glasses right when you have to remove them.

• Washing & Cleaning Your Glasses

The last tip we would be discussing today would be how best to go about cleaning your lenses so they always remain sharp and bright for you the very best vision for which it was intended by your Optometrist. Your case has a cleaning cloth inside which you ought to use often anytime you want to put it one after use, this is to ensure that all dirt is cleared before you wear.

Again every now and then you glasses accumulate enough dirt that you cleaning cloth may not have been able to clear completely, and so it is advisable to wash it with liquid soap under running water to clear any stubborn debris that may be lingering.
