It's the Christian's holy day of worship today called Sabbath as most of us probably know. On this day, a lot of Christians gathered in different places across the globe to give thanks, to ask for forgiveness of sins and to ask God for whatever we desire. And as such, today wasn't left out, and the good thing is that, I wasn't left out in today's gathering either.

I invite you to continue reading as I walk you through on today's homily (Sermon) which I believed is of worth to many.

Homily theme: Gift bearers are church bearers

Today, the Catholic church all over the world read from the Gospel book of

GOSPEL

John 2:1—11.

This verses of the Bible talked about the first miracle of Jesus which was turning water into wine at a wedding in Cana Galilee

Congregations	In the church

The verses summaries how Jesus, his mother Mary and his disciples attended a wedding in Cana and when the wine got finished. His mother Mary then said to him, they have no wine and Jesus replied her

" Woman, how does your concern affect me? My hour has not yet come."

Then Mary told his disciples to do whatever he tells them. At a time, there were six stone water jars there for Jewish ceremonial washings, each holding twenty to thirty gallons and Jesus commanded them to fill them with water and it definitely turned into wine.

The reading ended that, after this first miracle that Jesus performed in Cana his disciples began to believe him.

Tagging his sermon as gift bearers are church bearers, the priest highlighted some key points of which said that there is a wedding in heaven as well, that Jesus (the bride) went back to his abode but will come some day and take us along so that we will fine with him (the bride).

He also said that, the "Time" Jesus was talking about to marry means manifestation , also considering what Simon said to Mary during his (Jesus) Presentation, that a sword will pierce his heart. Jesus manifested his glory by turning water into wine

Lessons the priest told us to learn

• The priest told us also that Obedience is the key to God's miracle referring to what Mary said to the apostles "Do whatever he tells you"
• The couples were obedience the Jewish law, they kept the jar if water as a sign of purification.

The priest's lamentations

He expressed disappointment that, Today, Christians are so religious but are not Godly, we are running out of wine.... likewise families running out of wine of unity , choristers, cmo , many certificates has ran out of wine and the solution is Jesus.
And without the wine, we can not see very well this year .

He concluded his homily which lasted for about 40 minutes by praying for peace to be with all the congregation.

The mass later ended at 10: 02am.
