Hello steem Ghana,thank you for bringing attention to this vital topic which has been going all round the world at large "gender inequality "especially crypto wise..so basically,in this write up i will be giving my thoughts/Opinions On Gender Statistics That shows male Outnumber female In The Steem Blockchain and the reason behind that which i will furthermore be explaining What can be Done To Balance/Increase Such Minimal Gender In Steem.

It's no longer news to everyone in every community that the male gender participate more in steemit blockchain than the other female gender,referencing steem crptoacademy where tally of female in participations is almost as insignificant to amount of male we have on board nothing less than (95%:05%) ratio male to female active in the community.without further ado i will be stating my reason for having fewer women on steem blockchain which sheds more light to the topic

Reasons Females participate less On Steemit blockchain

1.Lack of Technology exposure at a younger age.
Technology is mostly male-dominated for reasons that include boys being introduced to gadgets at a younger age,where at this period of time girls are not really concerned of the tech world .in all tech part all around e.g engineering,computer science we've always have fewer females ,analysis shows that we have only 16% computer science undergraduates being female.so in this case females are hardly exposed to what and where exactly crypto analysis entails due to lack of the basic knowledge which gives perfect reason for having very few amount of women in steem blockchain

2. Cryptocurrency has a reputation for being risky
The cryptocurrency trading scene is often depicted as a high-octane, precarious environment, better suited to those who enjoy the adrenaline rush. It’s well known that the cryptocurrency market can experience tremendous volatility as well as mind-boggling rates of return.source.this is one of the major reason why women participate less in crypto due to its volatility and uncertainties that comes with crypto business which puts females in an uncomfortable which they had rather stay away from ..STEM education. The lack of taking risk and knowledge force women not to engage
in crypto related platforms such as well as steemit blockchain

What can be Done To Balance/Increase Such Minimal Gender In Steem

1.Educating females

I think education is key right now, with solid mentorship programs. Connecting with and reaching out to young women, supporting STEM programs that feature blockchain, or developing new programs at all levels. I’m also a big fan of the STEAM over STEM concept. I think “arts” needs to be included because creativity is truly important in a field with so many possibilities. Also, I’d encourage women to seek out non-traditional job title roles for women in tech: learn to code, or do security systems, etc. — Beth Farnham.

With this been said what women really need is education on steem i think they should be chance in a way they get to see blockchain as not some rockets science at least any woman with logic of simple calculations can participate in steem blockchain.basically,what steem need to be done is to engage women in a little bit of mathematical education on crypto currency in other to have an increase of female gender in the blockchain platform.

2.Star putting more focus on women in a specific way
I believe steem can initiate more women into blockchain in a specific way of reducing the minimum requirements for women participating in steem blockchain and the few ones should be more encourage as to encorage there fellow gender to be willing to learn more and participate in the steem cryptoacademy

conclusion: i believe with this my little explanations have been able to share my opinion and thoughts on how we get to balance the minimal gender on steemit ..my research statistics were mainly from @steemcryptoacademy
