The Healing Process
The journey to healing is one that demands conscious efforts and self discipline. Discipline is the hallmark of all successful individuals in all disciplines and the various aspects of our lives and most often than not this tend go to in line with diligence through consistent daily efforts.
You need to want to be better before you can be better, you need to want to let go before you can actually let go, you need to want to heal before you can actually heal. It is the reason why so many people are living in denial and in false lives and pretenses. They lie to themselves on a daily basis not understanding the harm they may be causing themselves.
The power of the mind and of our mindset is one not to be underestimated or taken for granted. It is for this reason why many psychologist and healers etc talk about the power of positive thinking. It is because what we allow our minds to think and wander to will directly or indirectly or indirectly affect our actions and inaction and have repercussions later on in our lives.
So let's embrace the concept of discipline and conscious effort to be better and to do better for the purpose of growth, our healing and our letting things go.
