#club100//the Diary Game: Hard working day at the building site, very exhausting (16/04/2022).
Hello friends, how are you guys doing? We are still in the Easter spirit, commemorating the suffering, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and may this season bring us to the revelation of what Christ has done for us for us to be unity with God.
Today was quite a busy day for me, I went to place I haven't been before to work on a building construction. The construction site is at a small town called Kodiebe, a town around Shi hills in Accra, it is a developing town with a lot of new houses under construction. I had a very good working day and it was good to have something important and useful to do with my time.
I got there at 6:00am and immediately went to the site to start work, we did the filling last week and today is just concrete work. We casted concrete inorder to start the main building up. I did the mixing of the concrete and also the fetching of water to be used for the mixing. It was quite hard yet fun because we were quite many and everyone was seriously involved and doing what they are suppose to do.
One bag of cement was used for six wheel barrows of gravels, that was the instruction given by the mason in charge. In total, we used twenty bags of cement to complete the work.
We used about 50 gallons and two barrels of water for the entire work, concrete requires a lot of water. If you have ever done concrete work before, you will understand what am talking about.
As tiring as my day was, it was also fulfilling. Thank God I achieved my aim for the day. Thanks for passing by and have a wonderful Easter celebration day. Shalom 🙏.
