This story i heard with my grandpa that in ancient times there was a king who had seven sons. Six sons were from a wife and the seventh was a step-mother.

The stepson's name was Malik Mohammad. All the sons went to get the gold caged parrot to become the heir to the king. The first six sons not only got a parrot but they lost everything in gambling and started begging, but Malik Mohammad freed the daughter of the king of the neighboring kingdom from Dev's captivity and cut off one of Dev's legs. Malik Mohammad after great efforts found his brothers and went with them to find the cage and the parrot. On the way they reached a kingdom where the king had seven daughters and they got married. After that he started his journey again. On the way he was imprisoned by seven fairies, but managed to escape with the help of one of them.

When Malik Mohammad saw these circumstances, he asked his brothers to return to the house and he walked alone towards the destination.

Malik Mohammad turned to the forest and continued on. After walking some distance he saw a fakir walking towards him. When the fakir reached him, he said, come young man, let us make a deal. Malik Mohammad said, what a deal. The fakir said that you give me your horse and sword, I will give you my kamandal, dastarkhan and stick. Malik Mohammad asked what is such a feature in these things? The fakir said, the specialty of the kamandal is that all the guests who come to your place. Put your hand in this and say that O Hazrat Suleman, a guest has come to my place. Whatever food you take out from the kamandal will never end.

*The specialty of Dastar Khan is that if it is laid out and it is said that O Hazrat Suleman is my guest, then the number of rotis needed will not be less. The specialty of the stick is that if it is said, O Hazrat Suneman, I want the head of such a person, then immediately the head of that person will be separated from the body. Malik Mohammad accepted the deal. Gave his horse and sword to the fakir and took his kamandal, dastarkhan and stick. The fakir tied the sword around his waist and went on a horse. Malik Mohammad said in his mind, these things should be tried. He took the stick in his hand and said, O Hazrat Sulaiman, The head of this fakir should be severed. Suddenly the head of the fakir separated from his body. Malik Muhammad thought that perhaps he wanted to kill an innocent with this sword. That's why it came to his mind to try the stick first and make such a wish. After that he picked up his sword and rode back on horseback towards the fort of the daughters of the fairies. As soon as his eyes fell on the younger daughter, he said, Malik Mohammad, do you not feel pity for yourself?

If my sisters see you, I will not leave you alive. Malik Muhammad said, God is great. The girl said, if something happened that it would destroy my sisters, then both of us would have found peace and would not have to face so many difficulties. Malik Mohammad said, "If you don't mind, killing him is like taking a sip of water to me." The girl gave permission to kill her sisters and Malik Mohammad picked up the stick and said, O Hazrat Suleman, let the heads of these six girls be separated like pumpkins. After saying this, looking at the girl and said, go and see whether your sisters are alive or not? The girl went and saw that the heads of her six sisters were separated from their bodies. He happily came out on her and came back and said, Malik Mohammad is all dead. Now both of us can live life together. Malik Mohammad said, I have to go on an important journey. the girl said, I know you're looking for a gold cage and parrot, but you can't find it without my help. Malik Mohammad asked why? The girl said, because there is a distance of sixty miles from here to where the parrot and the cage are kept. For twenty miles there is a territory of leopards, up to twenty miles of lions and up to twenty miles of ghosts. The cage and the parrot are on the head of the girl of the king of fairies. There are seven gates from the city to the palace of the girl, which are guarded by the gods.

The sentry of the last gate is the seven-headed deity. Now stand up so that I can tell you what to do now. The girl turned quickly and took the form of a big chicken. Malik Mohammad jumped on his wings and they flew away. Flying in the sky for forty miles and passed through the territory of leopards and lions. For the last twenty miles, because it was a realm of ghosts, the girl returned to her true form and made Malik Mohammad a needle and put it in his neck. Passed through the last twenty miles to reach the city and then to the first gate. Here the girl returned Malik Mohammad to her former form and became a pigeon herself and sat on the wall of the palace to see what Malik Mohammad did to the gods.

Wow that's interesting and educative. But why did Malik ask his brothers to return home?
