The dairy game: 10/12/2020: Polling station as EC Official

Hi steemit friends, on 7th December 2020 was a election day for Ghanaian to elect their president and parliamentary candidate.

I was part of the electoral commission official to assist the voting.
I was send to a place called Domeabra. The is like island before you get you have to use ⛵ to cross.
We depart from EC office around 12am and get to town called Kwame Danso at 4:18am. We wait at the police station for 🌞 to rise

When we get to the sea shore the captain was not around so our returning officer went and called him

We Were bringing our thing from the car park them into the ⛵ and also wearing our lifejacket.
We were afraid because it was my first time.

But it was interesting,the sea was very big and is called Senea.

We use about 30 minutes to cross.
When we get to the other end of the sea we carry our things and walk about 10 minutes to get to the place.


When we get to the place we arrange our things

After arranging the thing we pray for the Lord to give as strength.
And we begin the work.
When you get to the station you have to were your 👃 mask after that you wash your hands under running water provided by the EC and sanitizer before the name reference place to check whether your name is in or not

The work starts 7:00am and ends at 5:00pm.
It was a not easy because the whole night no sleep.
When it was 5:00pm we close by not all allowing anybody to join the queue.
We sort the presidential first

After that parliamentary also follows.

After finishing every counting we present everything on the pink sheet and everyone necessary to sign .

After everything done we carry our things back to head office of the electoral commission

The time we reach it was about 11:38pm
The work was not easy at all.
