I've been wanting to tell Steemit about this for a long time but I didn't know how, until I found this channel yesterday and it just so happened that @ayijufridar shared the same thing with my thoughts. So I immediately asked permission to make a Mockup to make it look realistic, how the view would look later, and delivered it directly to this channel.

Periodically or as needed, Steemit does a hard fork which changes several algorithmic systems. This change certainly takes into account many aspects, both for the benefit of business, technology, as well as for the growth of platforms and communities.

One important aspect of posting on Steemit is seeing responses from other Steemians. At times, the response was immediately apparent in voting or commenting. However, some Steemians respond only by reading posts, not commenting, or giving votes with various considerations. For example, voting power is low or there is no time to comment.

After creating a post, there are some activities that Steemians usually do. Most often is to see how many scores were voted and from anyone. I've done that a lot too, and admittedly or not, it's been the most interesting part of Steemit. However, it is not the only thing that is of interest.

Apart from posting rewards, another part that is often paid attention to is commenting and then replying. Who gives comments and what is the content of the comments, is also another important part. Sometimes, a comment that is casual and standard, but comes from a whale, or from someone who is casual at Steemit but extraordinary at heart, makes the person happy to be the recipient. So, Steem Power does not always give happiness to others.

Responding to comments is no less fun than looking at the number of rewards because the comments themselves are rewards in another form that is no less important. So, don't always look at the rewards of Steem and Steem Dollars. Nutritious comments, post resteem, are also forms of rewards that should be appreciated.

Another thing that is also important is the number of post clicks. This can be judged as a reference to the number of readers, although clicks do not always mean reading. It is possible for other people to just click it and then ignore the content of the post, but the system still counts it and it is recorded as a viewer.

So, I suggest that Steemit add a feature to see the number of views in each post. This number of viewers is a separate form of reward for creator content. From there a content creator can get the votes he deserves. From the data, the number of viewers also indicates the quality of the content and the popularity of the content creators.

In fact, Steemit once made an indicator for the number of viewers at the bottom right of the post, with an eye icon. I sometimes encounter extraordinary surprises when the number of people who click on a post reaches nearly 500 but only tens of people voted. The number of "readers" is not always directly proportional to the number of votes.

However, for me, the number of "readers" is an important part as an indicator that the writing is of great interest to many people. At least we get an idea of what kind of posting model you are interested in, even though "clicks" are not always related to the quality of the content.

Unfortunately, the eye icon then disappeared. We can no longer know the number of "readers" of a post. There are other ways to see the readership of a post, but through the eye, the icon is the easiest and fastest way.

So far, I have often paid attention to the eye icon to see how many readers have. After that, I also saw his comments because that is also an important and valuable part. Some other Steemians also consider the eye icon to be an important part and hope for the feature to be featured again. []
