It's another powerup contest organized by @ijelady. Thanks so much ma'am for coming up with week#3 powerup contest. Honestly, Powering up helps a Steemian to earn more than Powering down. In this contest, am going to explain benefits of Powerup, what is powerup and how to do powerup.

Powerup simply means converting our liquid Steem to steempower. We can as well call it saving or locking up your Steem for a certain period of time before powering down.

• Powerup helps us to save for ourselves in the future.

• We attract more votes from the curators for ourselves when we powerup regularly.

• We earn curation reward when we use our steempower to support others.

• We support the growth and stability of Steemit ecosystem.

• We earn more steempower. etc.

• First log into your Steemit wallet using your active key. Close to your liquid Steem, you will see a small black down arrow, click on it. Once you do that, a selecting option page will open, please select powerup. See the screenshot below 👇

• Second, when you click on the powerup, a 2 dashboard will appear, indicating your username, on the second one, you where expected to put the amount of Steem you desire to powerup. After putting the amount of Steem, you click on powerup. Whatch below 👇

Immediately you click on the powerup, another page will appear,. guess what? Just click OK. When you do that, you have saved your Steem.
