A dribble followed by wrong pass
Till its nothing to do

Second half came so fast
Energy renewed, vigour on point
A goal closer, we pushed further
Turning left, next was a pass
A nodding, in it goes
Fans were shouting
Expecting the goal
A miss, sad, we returned back home.

Remembering fallen players
Those who run on this field
Sweat for glory, leg for the run
Thigh so thick, it tears the loins
They did there best
Brought the trophy home
We tried the same
We lost the ball.
