The book was about the feud between the families of tha Montagues and yhe Capulets and the consequences it had on Romeo and Juliet, members of the feuded families who had fallen in love and wanted the feud to end so they could be with one another. It results in both of them losing their lives and the grief caused to thw families due to this ends the feud and statues of both of them made to honor them.
My favorite character was Romeo since the plot seemed to revolve around him the most.the bold move he made to sneak into the enemy's family function and the way he was ready to do anything to have Juliet for himself. His character also seemed to be the most well-defined in my opinion.
I like this book because it doesn't end with the usual and cliché happily ever after. It has a touch with reality and represents real life circumstances. Also, it is written in a brilliant and effective style by the great Shakespeare. Thus it is still classic to this day. The characters are fleshed out well and plot is well defined
You definitely should read this book because firstly it is a classic that should be read by all. Secondly, all it's element including storyline and characters makes it perfect and an ideal novel for those who are fond of romantic storylines
I love the story but never got the chance to read this novel. Although, I have read many classics.
