I officially welcome to my dearest country Nigeria. Regarded as giant of Africa and it was not a slang when the name was attributed to us.
We have three (3) major tribes in Nigeria which are;
Yoruba
Hausa
Ibo

Our traditions here is quite unique and some off them here.

Way of Dressing
The way we dress is unique and that is one of out cultural identity. What is culture? Culture can be defined as the total way of life of people. Our culture is interesting and the manner of dressing tells people where we come from.

Africa Dishes
Here in Nigeria, we have some continental dishes that make us unique in the aspect of afia efere which is one the most delicious soup to be eaten world wide and one more thing, please there is nothing like white soup and believe the last Oxford dictionary to be published will help us in the prounciation

The colonial masters brought bible to us and I will say the bible has brought alot of controversy over the years. Let us take our mind back to the early years before Christianity came to Nigeria and listen closely to the story.

Back then in the early era, there was nothing like fear or criminals because one could leave his/her open and go out without been fearful that his things will get missing. You could go in and take anything you want but with a clear mind and once you have the intention of stealing,you die instantly and that was the power of mbiam(juju) unlike now that before leave his house will use like three padlocks all in the name of security reason or fear. The bible has brought fear to us but at the same time it has good to us because only God that knows the kind of things we do.

Our culture has deteriorated because of Christianity but that has not changed us completely because till now, we do our normal rite which which man must pay bribe price before marrying a lady, polygamy marriage is still encourage, traditional worshippers are still operating at their own pace.

In term of Education, colonial master has done well because we have let go of some fetish things like only a male child can go to school, only a male child could lead but nowadays the burden is being shared among the two sex.

Nothing is has spoilt so far but is how we accept our people culture and do not let go our own completely that makes the scene watchable.
