Not so long ago I noticed an interesting detail. Often photographers sort of crop (crop) a little their photo portraits, removing part of the face from the top or side. I found this an interesting technique, although the classical school of drawing does not really welcome it.
In this drawing, I just use this technique, which allows me to focus more on the girl's eyes. In general, it should look no worse if you trim the bottom even more.
Не так давно я заметил интересную деталь. Часто фотографы как бы немного обрезают (кадрируют) свои фотопортреты, убирая часть лица сверху или сбоку. Мне показалось это интересным приёмом, хотя классическая школа рисования не очень приветствует это.
На этом рисунке я как раз использую этот приём, что позволяет больше сосредоточиться на глазах девушки. В целом должно смотреть не хуже, если обрезать низ ещё сильнее.

The technique used by the photographers you mentioned draws my attention as well. The feeling and effect of the drawing are basically gathered in the woman's eyes and spread from there. As you said so even if the cutting process is applied, its effect will continue :)
