The girl gasped in surprise and tightened her grip on her friend's hand, as if afraid of something. A little further away, to the left of a beautiful vegetable arch, there was a large pond overgrown with reeds, which was once a bay. And right on the shore of this pond, an old beautiful sailboat covered with moss stood slightly on its side. The ship had holes, its hull was cracked. Here, in this place, it seems, he was destined to end his glorious history of pirates and naval battles.

Здесь, в этом месте ему, похоже, суждено было закончить свою славную историю пиратов и морских сражений.
