This time I will share about my next activity that happened this afternoon at my jeeja's place, namely the Lhokseumawe city fish auction market.

A few days ago I shared a post about buying and selling fish, but this time I will tell you a little more in depth.

In accordance with the picture, the atmosphere in the market in the afternoon is seen, namely the workers are treating the fish that have been bought by traders.

Before the fish are unloaded from the fish barrels, the workers must sort the fish by type, after that they are only given ice to be sold the next morning.

In addition to being sold in place, some of the fish are also sent to the field. Usually the fish brought to the field will arrive around 2 pm because in the field at 3 pm the market activity has occurred, if the fish do not arrive at that time, the fish will not sell anymore and must be sold the next morning again.

This is one of the causes of risk for traders, because the fish trade is wet if there is a flood of fish, the price of fish will go down. We never know what will happen tomorrow.

In managing wet fish, the fish should be fed ice that has been crushed by the crusher. First, put the crushed ice into a barrel about 5 inches thick. Next, put in half the size of the fish barrel, then add ice with the same thickness, then add the remaining half of the fish barrel, then add ice again.

Finally given water to the brim and the fish are packed neatly ready for sale tomorrow morning. If the fish is given water, the quality will be very good because if the fish are not given water, the quality of the fish will decrease.

If the fish sent to the field are only given 5 liters of water, because the fish sent must be in a dry condition so that they do not move when the car moves while on the way.
