Buddha Statue || B&W PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #107

Hi steemians
This Buddha statue is one of the statues inside the 72 stupas that surround Borobudur Temple. Borobudur Temple itself is the largest relic of Buddhism in the world. It builds around 800 AD during the heyday of King Syailendra. The construction of Borobudur is estimated to take 75 - 100 years. UNESCO has recognized Borobudur Temple as one of the Buddhist monuments in Indonesia and the world praised its splendor.
