Smögen is a town and an island in Sotenäs municipality in Västra Götaland County in the province of Bohuslän in Sweden. In 2010, the settlement had 1,329 inhabitants. Smögen is best known for its harbor with a 600 meter long jetty that attracts thousands of boat tourists every summer

The place is very neat and I guess that the houses are built the same contractors? They have similar designs and made out from wood too.

There are wooden houses in Sweden and Norway that are many hundreds of years old

These small villages are beautiful. I like to see how houses are built in different places around the world. Here the houses are made of wood and have steeply sloping roofs.

Hi @xpilar, have seen your holiday photos but did nto have time to comment. The series from Smögen are awesome, beautiful tidy place, like the combination of white boats and red houses and of course blue water. That is a great combination and immediately makes the place attractive. Seems to be very popular for tourists too :)
