On the road again. Today we visit Åmål in Sweden

Åmål is located in Dalsland in the heart of Sweden's folk music scene and right by the beautiful wilderness.
Åmål is located in the eastern part of the area known as Dalsland, a little over a kilometer and a half from Säffle in the neighboring county of Värmland. A trip to Åmål is suitable for those who love fishing and hiking, or experiencing international music events. There are also a number of child-friendly activities in the Swedish countryside.

The town is especially characterized by its location on Lake Vänern, which attracts fishing enthusiasts who want to catch pike, perch, salmon and trout. Other visitors go to Ängebytjärnet with the hope of catching rainbow trout.
