My entry for PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #037 (PowerUp 100%)

This is my friend José Luis. We both hail from Barcelona, we grew up at the same neighbourhood, we played in the streets as children, as youngsters at art school and as adults on the island of Ibiza. A few years ago he decided to move to the Pyrenees, to a small village in the central part of the mountain range, where he has a bread oven and other marvellous pastries. The distance has not prevented us from seeing each other, he comes to the island every once in a while and I go up to the mountains once a year.
I took this photo during last year's visit just before we were confined and it was taken at the International Station of Canfranc, which has been abandoned for more than 50 years and presented this decadent, although very powerful, image.Shortly after the photo was taken, they started to reshape the station buildings and outbuildings.Shortly after the photo was taken, work began on restoring the station buildings and outbuildings.Shortly after the photo was taken, the restoration of the station buildings and outbuildings began.
