Cabo de Gata Natural in b&w report
The province of Almería is located at the southeast corner of the Iberian Peninsula and is practically a desert, in fact it is the largest desert in the European Community. The coastal area in the extreme southeast is declared a protected natural park, called Cabo de Gata (Cape of Cat), and maintains quite well the essence of what it has been in the last centuries, a very arid land with some small oasis, few crops and small fishing villages, some of them nowadays abandoned.
Here I leave you with the black and white images of my last visit to the area.
The Cabo de Gata with its lighthouse.
The abandoned fisherman's village of Monteleva.
The coastline of the Natural Park from Los Escullos.
The beach of Mosul.
The oasis of Rodalquilar.
Village of Isleta del Moro.
The Cabo de Gata itself.
All the images I publish are made by me.
