A PLEASANT DISCOVERY ...100% POWER UP!!

During my stay in Calabria in my free moments I was able to tour it a lot and to discover particular or historical places that have made the history of this region. one of the towns that struck me most of all was Pizzo Calabro but the wonder that struck me was the Murat castle.

Of course I am not super passionate about history but I would like to take you to discover this wonder with my photos that I took, this castle was actually a Manor and dates back to the mid-fifteenth century, practically it was a great bulwark in the military history of Pizzo Calabro and has resisted numerous conflicts but also natural disasters.

It is a special place because here you will find yourself in the middle of the Napoleonic era and practically the castle takes the name of Murat who was a French general following Napoleon who was later proclaimed King of Naples. It was nice to visit inside the tunnels of the castle, with very mysterious corridors and certainly hidden treasures, But the most beautiful part in my opinion was the terrace of the castle from where you can admire the beauty of the panorama.

So if you are lucky enough to come to these parts I recommend a visit. Even if in my opinion it loses photography enthusiasts, I recommend a visit at night because in the evening the castle has a completely different charm.
