Weekly Contest, creating Short Story. Week #23: HOW I FOUND MYSELF IN THIS PART OF THE WORLD By @wealthmary

One, two, three days gone, he is still walking hopelessly on an endless road. He has lost his way back, don't even know how he got there, no hope of return, but he is still walking.
"I have being trying to find my way back, but all to no avail"; He told a young lady he saw on the lonely road. The lady gave him no response, instead she was just staring at him like a statue. He became confused and ignored the lady and continue walking. "How did I arrive here, what brought me here?" He kept on pondering as he walks.

It all started when he was in his office, as he laid his head to take a nap, he found himself in another world walking endlessly and helplessly on a lonely road. He never knew that it was a death path, the land of no return.
His lovely wife and kids surrounds him, praying and waiting patiently for the day he will awake from coma. They have cried their eyes out, and have being pleading to the Almighty God to spare his life and bring him back to earth.

Fortunately for him, on one beautiful day he awakes from the slumber that looks like death. Now he realized that he has being walking a death path, a place of no return, and the young lady he saw was actually a dead being. Thanks to the Almighty for sparing his life.
