RE: Back and Looking Forward - Imprinted by LightCaptured
If you injured yourself you can't be back to brand new LOL
If you write that post please, let me know. I assume no leakages either? The temperature isn't such an issue. I wonder if the leaves of trees affect it.
Some parts of me still regenerate, LMAO :P
Yes, with this rubber technology, the whole roof becomes as a single shingle so no leakages at all. The price is quite good too, excluding the manual labour I am putting myself, heheh.
I suspect this new layer also has a thermal insulation effect but couldn't find anything related online.
I ordered the rubber and the textile layer in May, the total cost per m2 is about EUR 6-7.
The huge problem with that "technology" is that temperatures (day+night) should not drop below +16 C as if that happens then the rubber crystalizes and doesn't cover the surfaces properly but then those days are in terms hot and I cannot work under burning sunlight for more than 2-3 hours. (It's a wonderful cardio-exercise, by the way :DD) Also, the roof has to be absolutely dry and some mornings there is morning dew and the roof is wet so I have to wait for it to dry before starting the application.
What do you mean by "if the leaves of trees affect it"?
Have an awesome Sunday! :)
