They do and did the same with me mainly, at least I assume, because I am a woman. You should stand up for yourself and say: I am the one paying the bills, show at least some respect if you want an income! How about that?
I had workers renovating the house. That house wasn't more than some broken outside walls and and a falling apart roof. A guy stopped by as I was outside to steal rooftiles for his own home (one he was renovating and put for rent).
He was shocked as he saw I was there... some lies, excuses and so on.. next he asked for the tiles (at least something).
The workers talked to him instead of me. I raised an eyebrow and asked why they talk to a stranger and not to me since I am the one paying their bills
If they are not allert enough it's better to shake them up. we pay, so we are in charge, no one else. They better be aware of it. It sounds like those videos on youtube where whealty people are kicked out of their own hotels, shops, restaurants because they are not good enough dressed or whatever. A good reason to sack someone.
I hope your house will be there but also you will stand up for yourself and will not give in. It's not the architect who decides but you. Every idiot can draw a house. I did it more than once and it's possible. It's laziness or lack of skills if the architect is not willing.
If your brother is the one giving a hand he should also be the one to understand that you need a bigger room for your stuff and not be locked in a smaller room than you have today.
Sorry friend, but it makes me angry. You deserve way better than to live like this. You sacrifice more than anyone else would. It's not selfish but a need we talk about.

When I was younger I already realized the value of a good image towards other people because I know that having a "pleasing personality", or perhaps being a person of authority for example will make people treat you better.
That is why I tried to eat as much as I can to gain weight and that was many years before my Kidneys failed, I already had a problem with my body not knowing that I was already sick at that time and any form of exercise would only strain me and not going to amount to anything including trying to eat that much but still I am as thin as fish bones.
This photo was taken a few months before I quit going to College because of my bad Kidneys as chronic fatigue and all those bad symptoms are already mounting on me to my brink of quitting.
My body never matured, then it went downhill from this physique back then, I was only 16 years old in that photo, full of hopes and dreams and I actually was aiming for working in a hotel but I ended up involving myself to the "Internet money" which actually is much better I guess than being employed money-wise but having a normal health is priceless especially if you have a normal body function.
So my plan was to build myself, have a good reputation and basically being a person which people "takes seriously" but the opposite happened, so now I am facing that problem everyday because most people judges a person by the way than person looks. I've experienced it from sales clerks. store owners, doctors, cashiers, security guards, health professionals, and ordinary people.
Sometimes I think that I am not fit anymore to live in this world particularly if my loved ones will not be around because I will definitely feel alone, it is one of my fears. It is a good thing that I am a member of MCGI, at least I have someone to call if I needed help and they are more than willing to give me a helping hand.
Anyway, it is a hard life coupled with dealing with other people but I have to press on and deal with it because it is my reality Miss @wakeupkitty 🧡🧡🧡🌹🌹🌹

You forgot to mention "authority". People do not only judge on looks (they will to start with but trust me, authority and money are way more important if it comes to it and you have that.).
You might not be filthy rich but you can be noticed and if people don't like to hear, they should feel it (in their wallet if needed).
Your brother could give a hand there as well by telling that louse architect that it's your house, your drawing, you are the one who pays. Let her swallow that and think before she judges... and if she want to get paid.
There's also something like respect. And the least you can do is watching the one who pays your food into the eyes and show some respect.
If you keep hiding and thinking this way nothing will change and they won't show you any respect.
We both won't live forever and if you are already not too much liked there's nothing to lose except respect for yourself which is the worst.
I know it's a very hard life you are living and it's totally fine to confront the spoiled, "good" looking with the sick inside with it. Let them watch in the mirror before they speak.
I am happy to hear you are a member of MCGI and you accept help in case of need. There's no reason not to. Take the help you can get, everything you have a right to. Don't let anyone take it away out of false shame.

I can't upload the photo, steem image servers definitely has bug issues. Itried uploading several times and it won't push through.
Anyway, thank you for your encouragement Miss @wakeupkitty but find it stressful to deal with how people generally treats me and I chose to just shrug it off and let it go and just maybe laugh about it because I can't change people's perspective although some people does value me including you which I cherish a whole lot.
I now definitely don't belong in this world because it is dominated by normal people and I can never fit in just because of other people's visual perception about me.

Yes, it is true that there is an issue with the photos.
I use an extern site and place their link. I am tired of trying for hours and receiving error 500.
Let's hope it's fixed soon.
The last thing a sane person should try is to fit in! What's the point of being one out of many, a copy cat?
For sure the normal don't dominate but the crazy idiots rule. Look around you, most rulers are far from normal.
