La presente fotografía fue tomada con la cámara del teléfono Samsung A32 el 4 de diciembre de 2023. Me encontraba en la Plaza Grande, uno de los espacios públicos más representativos de la ciudad de Mérida, Yucatán, a varios metros de la entrada por las calles 61 con 62.

Las aves del fondo, a un lado de la torre telefónica, eran palomas negras con gris; siempre se les ve en los parques, cuan ejército de romanos, invadiendo bancas y aceras. Cuando levantan el vuelo en masa, uno tiene que estarlas evadiendo como si te estuvieran atacando; he sabido de casos de aves que chocan contra la gente en pleno vuelo, razón por la cual opto por buscar una ruta más segura cuando estoy en el área.

The following picture was taken with the Samsung A32 phone's camera, in December 4th, 2023. I was in the Plaza Grande, one of the public spaces most representative of the city of Merida, Yucatan, at many meters of the entry through 61st with 62nd streets.

The birds in the background, at the side of the telephone tower, there were black and gray doves; they are always seen in the parks, like an army of Romans, invading benches and sidewalks. When they take flight en masse, you have to evade them as if they were attacking you; I have known of cases of birds colliding with people in mid-flight, which is why I choose to find a safer route when I am in the area.
