Cuando llega el anochecer, la Plaza Grande de Mérida se llena de vida, con la gente saliendo del trabajo, paseándose, sentándose en los bancos a charlar o a mirar cómo otros caminan delante de su mirada. Al fondo, alzándose gloriosa, se encuentra la Catedral de San Ildefonso tenuemente iluminada. Toda esta escena aconteció un 22 de julio de 2023, con la cámara de mi teléfono Samsung A32 como testigo.

When dusk arrives, Merida's Plaza Grande comes alive, with people leaving work, strolling, sitting on benches chatting or watching others walk in front of them. In the background, rising gloriously, is the dimly lit Cathedral of Saint Ildephonse. This whole scene took place on July 22, 2023, with the camera of my Samsung A32 phone as a witness.
