El 24 y el 25 de mayo pasados se llevó a cabo la Noche Blanca, un evento cultural que se organiza dos veces al año en la ciudad de Mérida por las autoridades locales y estatales; el objetivo principal de este evento es el impulso del arte local y la cultura. Para ello, se realizan actividades de toda índole, desde conciertos hasta recorridos por distintos museos y galerías de la ciudad. Durante el evento te dan unos brazaletes, con los cuales puedes obtener descuentos en cafeterías y restaurantes participantes.
En esta edición solo asistí el sábado 25 de mayo, ya que el viernes 24 (denominado La Víspera) no tuve tiempo; mi hermano me acompañó a realizar un recorrido por algunas partes del Centro Histórico. Sin embargo, espero acudir a su segunda edición anual, la cual debe realizarse entre noviembre y diciembre de este año.
A continuación les comparto algunas fotografías del evento en general; en futuros posts compartiré más fotografías de algunos lugares específicos que visité en el recorrido.

In past May 24th and 25th was held The White Night, a cultural event that is organized twice a year in the city of Mérida by local and state authorities; the main objective of this event is to promote local art and culture. To achieve this, all kinds of activities are carried out, from concerts to tours of different museums and galleries in the city. During the event, they gave you bracelets, with which you can obtain discounts at participating coffee shops and restaurants.
In this edition I only attended in Saturday May 25th, since I didn't have time in Friday 24th (named The Eve); my brother accompanied me on a tour of some parts of the Historic Downtown. However, I hope to attend its second annual edition, which should take place between November and December of this year.
Below I share some selected pictures of the event; in future posts I will share with you more pictures of some specific places I visited during the tour.

Se ve que es un lugar muy bonito, y donde se pueden tomar buenas fotos. Pero lo que más me llama la atención es que hay dinosaurios, debe ser genial ir allá.
En efecto, mi estimada @zulfrontado. Hay algunos lugares de Mérida muy fotogénicas, principalmente en el Centro Histórico de la ciudad y en la zona norte. Lo del Museo de Historia Natural, donde están los dinosaurios, eran animatrónicos; no sé si por falta de presupuesto o de personal, no les han dado mantenimiento. ¡Saludos y que tengas un excelente día!
