Realistic Pencil Drawing - "Erased" by @unyimeetuk

Cases of rape and murder have increased rapidly all round the world and even recently, a lady who went for a Job interview got raped and killed. Pretty sad😥

This sparked concern amongst people and that sad incident inspired this piece. Almost all of us resonate with this as we are directly or indirectly affected. You are either a victim or someone you know is.

In some countries like mine, most rape cases are treated lightly and this shouldn't be the case.
So as to contribute in lending a voice against rape and murder, I decided to make this piece.

This was done using pelican paper, charcoal pencils and graphite pencils. It took about 24 hours to complete.

I choosed this photo because it had the right emotions and I decided to add a paper tear to it to send the complete message. I felt so emotional making this piece and I am still working on other piece to share with us and I hope to share them as soon as I done

Materials I made use of are tombow mono zero eraser, kneaded eraser, tortillon, tissue paper, soft flat brushes for blending, soft round makeup brushes too for blending.
