My Recent Realistic pencil drawing

Creating realistic art piece has always been something I love.

I derive lot of joy and satisfaction when I complete a piece. This piece right here took about 6 hours to be completed.

It was done with graphite and charcoal pencils on pelican paper.

My shading teachnique is Layering. I apply the first layer with graphite pencil, I like using 2b for this and when I get the forms correctly, I will apply my charcoal dust with the help of a brush. I think so far, this is most fastest way to make realistic drawings.

Someone asked me the other time "Does art not affect your social life?" Truth be told art takes greater part of an artist life but effective planning helps in maintaining a balance

As an artist, you will have to plan every work. Without planning, you will struggle, you will disappoint clients, and you will hate creating because of how stressful you will think it is to stay creative
