My Amazing Art Journey

Today while going through my gallery, I stumbled upon old pictures of my studio space and I am feeling blessed and inspired.

The saying “Trust the process” is really something we all should hold to heart. We definitely need to start from somewhere.

This is not me saying that my new studio space is the best but it’s better than where I started from. Here is a picture of my first studio space, it was a room where I slept, I used to lean my drawing board on the wall, and sometimes, I draw on the floor. Drawing from the floor is one of the most terrible ways to draw because you will end up having severe neck and back pains.

I later moved to a new apartment which was a bit better than the previous but It was still small so I had to be making my drawings on the wall.

I enjoyed the little progress that I made. I got blessed and moved again to another apartment, it was a two bedroom apartment and I converted one to a studio.

It was a bit better with a space for one person to work comfortably. It was a stepping-stone for me and because it was a comfortable space, I became more creative and my works improved a whole lot. That’s not me bragging lol.

Fast forward to a year later, I made some cash, moved to a bigger space and it became more comfortable and I became more creative.

This new space has given me the space to accommodate creatives like me and also hold class for people who would like to draw like I do.

It has been an amazing journey so far and I hope someone has been inspired by this.
