Some hackney wick artistry
On a side note I tried the Elizabeth line for the first time today, it’s very clean, it has air con 💪🏻 And everything is shiny and smooth and the seats are not thread bare, otherwise it looks just like any other tube line. People outside London might not know what the Elizabeth line is but it makes previously 1 hour journeys across London and even longer journeys out of London ( Essex for example) also super quick. I got from ilford to Brentwood today in about 15 mins or so

There are no people inside - is it normal? I know only overloaded public traffic...
Whatever people think from the media the tube is not rly that busy in the day, only crazy in rushhours which I try to avoid personally since I don’t have a job job. In the day it can be empty or half empty depending on the line. The dlr can be quite empty at times and it seems this Elizabeth line is right now, maybe cause it’s new and people haven’t factored it into their route. This was going out to Essex too. Our actual trains are often very quiet outside rush hour cause they are way over priced so most people just drive, I really think the actual trainline should be totally modernised for the current times with tickets, prices and flexibility and more people would use trains.
I like to observe that art in the streets, I like that urban and the variety of materials used, that subway looks very new, here they are horrible ha ha.

Hackney wick is very arty it has the highest proportion of artists in London I think. It’s always a bit kooky I like it. They used to have graffiti up on an abandoned house saying ‘shithouse to penthouse’ cause it is a high regeneration area lol.
