The World of XPILAR - LANDSCAPE/SEASCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #093 ~ Rock fishing
This is my entry for landscape, seascape photography and art contest hosted by @axeman.
There are a couple of types of rock fishing depending on what kind of bait you use.
You can catch fish with fresh or live bait such as sardines, various shellfish, crabs, sea worms, etc. but you can also fish successfully with artificial lures such as various wobblers (deep dive or surfaces), silicones, various jigs.
The equipment I used was;
Rod; Okuma Epixsor 258 cm, 15-40 g
Reel;Shimano Sedona 4000
Lure; Wobbler Sardine 175 mm
I caught this dentex (1.20 kg) with the spin technique.
The spin technique is used mostly from the coast and can also be from the boat.
The lure is thrown as far as possible and then we present that lure as a wounded fish on the run so that we slowly or quickly or easy twitches retreat towards ourselves and want to provoke an attack of predators moving along the shore.
... thank you ...
