The World of XPILAR - LANDSCAPE/SEASCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #090 ~ light in the night

This is my entry for landscape, seascape and art contest hosted by @axeman.

Lighthouses at night help us find our way more easily. They are usually found at the end points of islands or on smaller cliffs and islets.
Today, most ships sail with the help of satellite navigation, so they don't care so much about these lighthouses. But about 50 years ago our grandfathers did not have such satellite navigation and the only orientation at night were these lighthouses.

Some are green, some are red, some are white, some are dark, some are made of concrete others are made of stone the third are made of iron but they are all built to have the same purpose to guide us safely through the night.
